Returns & Refunds

Overview

Hammerox Industrial supplies commercial-grade equipment intended for professional use. We aim to ensure all products are delivered as described and in suitable condition.

This policy outlines your rights and our return process. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

 


 

1. Change of Mind Returns

We offer 30-day returns on standard stocked items, subject to the following conditions:

  • Item must be unused and in original condition

  • Item must be returned in original packaging

  • All components, accessories and manuals must be included

  • Return request must be submitted within 30 days of delivery

Change-of-mind returns are subject to:

  • Return freight costs at the customer’s expense

  • A restocking fee where applicable (particularly for bulky or pallet freight items)

Original outbound freight charges are non-refundable.

Custom, special-order, made-to-order or clearance items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

 


 

2. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your item arrives faulty or damaged:

  • Contact us as soon as possible

  • Provide clear photos of the product and packaging

  • Do not dispose of packaging until advised

If the product is confirmed faulty or damaged, we will:

  • Arrange repair, replacement or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law

  • Cover reasonable return freight costs where applicable

 


 

3. Commercial Equipment Disclaimer

Many products sold by Hammerox Industrial are commercial-grade and may require qualified installation or professional setup.

We are not responsible for:

  • Installation or removal costs

  • Labour charges

  • Downtime losses

  • Indirect or consequential damages

Incorrect installation, misuse or unauthorised modification may void warranty.

 


 

4. Freight & Bulky Items

Due to the nature of commercial equipment:

  • Some items are shipped via pallet or specialist freight

  • Return freight for large items may be significant

  • Return approvals must be obtained before any item is sent back

Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

 


 

5. How to Request a Return

To request a return, please contact us via our Contact page and include:

  • Order number

  • Product name

  • Reason for return

  • Photos if applicable

We will provide instructions once the return has been approved.

Do not return items without written confirmation from our team.

 


 

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.

Please allow:

  • Up to 5–10 business days after returned goods are received and inspected

Shipping fees and restocking charges (if applicable) will be deducted from the refund amount.

 


 

7. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure

  • Compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage

  • Repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality

Before purchasing, please ensure:

  • The product specifications meet your operational requirements

  • Dimensions, power requirements and installation conditions are suitable

  • You understand freight and access conditions for delivery

Commercial equipment purchases should be made carefully to avoid unnecessary return freight and restocking costs.
